St Keyne's Holy Well Apparently the first of a married couple to drink from the well would be 'master for life'. You cannot drink in advance and one groom ran from the church to the well as soon as they were pronounced man and wife but his wife had a flask of well water hidden under her dress! Incidentally the lady in the picture is my wife who got there first!
