Eastern extension of National Cycle Network 88, Caerleon

Viewed from the edge of Home Farm Crescent, Caerleon. Ahead is a new section of National Cycle Network Route 88. Opened in June 2011, the cycle route and footpath run parallel with railway lines for most of the way to Caerleon Comprehensive School. The extension is part of a £50 million UK-wide project by environment charity Sustrans, funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
