Old milestone On the 7 miles of the A618 from Rotherham town centre to the border with Derbyshire there are 7 West Riding CC milestones dating from 1893/94. This 3 mile stone is at Guilthwaite Grange. It does not have its backing stone but seems secure against the stone wall. This route was the most southerly on which these milestones were set up by the family firm of Gill and Frank Stead.
