Borth is a small coastal village located in the county of Ceredigion, Wales. Situated on the west coast of Cardigan Bay, it is approximately 5 miles north of Aberystwyth and 6 miles south of Ynyslas. Borth is known for its beautiful sandy beach, stunning views of the Irish Sea, and its close proximity to the Dyfi National Nature Reserve.

The village has a population of around 1,500 people and is a popular tourist destination, especially during the summer months. It offers a range of amenities and facilities for visitors, including cafes, pubs, restaurants, and shops.

Borth is also a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts, with opportunities for activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and birdwatching. The area is rich in wildlife, and visitors can often spot various species of birds, seals, and dolphins.

Cambrian Terrace and Borth Station Borth Station was built by the Aberystwyth & Welsh Coast Railway, and for a short time served as the terminus of the line, before the line was extended to Aberystwyth.

The terrace on the right was built around the same time, by the entrepreneur Thomas Savin, who was also involved in building the railway. His intention was to take advantage of the railway to develop Borth as a resort. The buildings on the left are modern. Seen on a rainy day.
