New Hall Mill - Wheel The iron overshot waterwheel, once external but now housed in a wheel shed. Before restoration it was wooden but due to rot an all iron was adopted for the preservation era.

* From Chris Allen
The buckets are probably steel with or without galvanisation. If the sides are original they will be cast-iron and the axle is likely to be wrought or cast-iron.
