The train in which this coach is to run is being shunted into position ready for the inaugural service the following day. This coach is known as an RBr and has had extensive alterations and restoration to the interior, including an extension to the bar.In addition there has been a considerable amount of bodywork repairs prior to a full repaint into a livery that this type of vehicle never had during it&#039;s mainline service. Originally, when built in 1961, it ran in the Eastern Region of British Railways and was numbered E1674. It now carries a Southern Region prefix as S1674.
