This was the 400th parkrun at Rother Valley and was being held on possibly the hottest day of the year. 417 people completed the 5km course, a single lap of the lake.

Former wheel pit, Bedgreave New Mill, Rother Valley
The 3-storey watermill was probably built about 1768, to replace an older watermill alongside. This pit is where the waterwheel was, turned by water from the River Rother. The mill was converted to steam power around 1886, and later to oil engine. It stopped working in 1947 and was restored in 1981-2 as part of Rother Valley Country Park.
