Sgeir an Torr Dheirg, also known as the Red Rock, is a small uninhabited island located off the west coast of Argyllshire, Scotland. It lies in the Sound of Jura, approximately 4 miles southwest of the mainland. The island is part of the Inner Hebrides archipelago and boasts a unique and rugged natural beauty.

The island is relatively small, measuring around 0.2 square kilometers and reaching a height of approximately 30 meters at its highest point. Its rocky terrain and steep cliffs make it inaccessible for human habitation.

Despite its small size, Sgeir an Torr Dheirg is an important breeding ground for various seabird species, including puffins, guillemots, and razorbills. The island's cliffs provide ideal nesting sites for these birds, and their calls can be heard echoing across the island during the breeding season.

Access to Sgeir an Torr Dheirg is primarily by boat, and visitors are advised to take caution due to the strong tidal currents and unpredictable weather conditions in the area. Its remote and untouched nature offers a unique opportunity for nature lovers and explorers to witness the untamed beauty of the Scottish coastline.
