South Geo of Hoini is a prominent coastal feature located in the Shetland Islands, Scotland. Situated on the southern coast of the mainland, it is characterized as a headland or point that juts out into the North Sea. The geographic coordinates of South Geo of Hoini are approximately 60.0807° N latitude and 1.2147° W longitude.

The headland is formed by a rugged coastline, with cliffs rising steeply from the sea. These cliffs reach heights of around 50 meters and are composed of sedimentary rocks, primarily sandstone and shale. The erosive forces of the North Sea have sculpted the cliffs over time, creating dramatic formations and caves along the shoreline.

South Geo of Hoini offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding coastal landscape and the vast expanse of the North Sea. The headland is known for its rich biodiversity, providing a habitat for various seabirds, including puffins, guillemots, and razorbills. It is also a popular spot for birdwatching and wildlife enthusiasts.

Access to South Geo of Hoini is relatively easy, with a footpath leading to the headland from a nearby car park. Visitors can explore the area on foot, taking in the stunning scenery and enjoying the sound of crashing waves against the cliffs. However, caution should be exercised near the cliff edges, as they can be unstable and dangerous.

Overall, South Geo of Hoini is a captivating coastal feature that offers both natural beauty and a unique glimpse into the diverse ecosystem of the Shetland Islands.

Malcolm's Head At 107m, Malcolm's Head is the fifth highest hill on Fair Isle, after Ward Hill (217m), Burrashield Hill (150m), Sheep Rock (132m) and Vaasetter Hill (110m). Although one can argue about "What is a hill?", I do not think any other spot would really qualify, although there are many sea stacks.
