An Steall

Sparkling Waterfall at An Steall, Scottish Highlands The falls of An Steall, being at something like sixty degrees to the horizontal, are more of a cascade than a true waterfall. On a fine day in summer, as in this photograph, the high sun just catches the spray making it glisten and sparkle.

Notices, Glen Nevis road end Glen Nevis is rather fertile ground for notices, rivalling even some English locations. There are ways up The Ben from here, but not for the target audience.
I shudder at the memory of the slog up from the Steall Hut once. That notice is very sound advice.
