Wuddy Rocks is a small island located in Berwickshire, Scotland. Situated off the coast of Eyemouth, it is part of a group of islands known as the Eyemouth Islands.

Covering an area of approximately 0.04 hectares, Wuddy Rocks is relatively small in size. It is composed of rugged cliffs and rocky terrain, with no vegetation or trees present on its surface. The island is accessible only by boat and is uninhabited, making it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers.

One of the notable features of Wuddy Rocks is its diverse bird population. The island serves as an important breeding ground for various seabird species, including guillemots, razorbills, and kittiwakes. These birds can be observed nesting on the cliffs and diving into the surrounding waters in search of food.

Due to its location in the North Sea, Wuddy Rocks experiences strong tidal currents and is subject to regular erosion from the sea. This has resulted in the formation of numerous sea caves and arches along its coastline, adding to the island's natural beauty.

Visitors to Wuddy Rocks should be aware of the challenging conditions and potential hazards that come with visiting an uninhabited island. Proper equipment and precautions should be taken to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

North Sea Dawn. Taken from the harbour wall at St. Abbs, looking SSE. about 6 o'clock one cool August morning. A storm out to sea earlier had produced the heavy swell, which, whilst disappointing the divers in our party, who couldn't go in, rewarded the photographer for her enforced early rising to accompany them!
