Corr Eilean is a small island located in Argyllshire, Scotland. It is situated off the west coast of the mainland, in the Inner Hebrides region. The island is part of a group of islands known as the Slate Isles, which also include Lunga, Eilean an Ròin, and Eilean Mòr. Corr Eilean covers an area of approximately 14 hectares.

The island is characterized by its rugged and rocky terrain, with steep cliffs and a variety of geological formations. It is predominantly composed of slate and gneiss, which gives the island its name. The coastline is indented with numerous sea caves and stacks, providing a unique and dramatic landscape.

Corr Eilean is uninhabited and lacks any permanent structures or facilities. However, it is a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. The island is home to a diverse range of bird species, including puffins, guillemots, and razorbills. Seals can often be spotted basking on the rocky shores, while dolphins and porpoises are frequently seen in the surrounding waters.

Access to Corr Eilean is only possible by boat, and there are no scheduled ferry services to the island. Visitors can arrange private boat trips or join wildlife tours to explore the island and its surrounding waters. Due to its remote location and limited facilities, it is advised to bring any necessary supplies and equipment when visiting Corr Eilean.
