Sheep pasture Ceredigion has many interesting landscapes that I really enjoy studying. I know that the landscape has evolved through human intervention over many centuries here but that it also looks engaging, interesting and on occasions almost 'other-worldly' or surreal is thought provoking for me.

Gate secured with a leather belt near Bryneithinog I have not seen a gate secured this way before; an expensive leather belt rather than baler twine. The gate's catch has been fitted so that it doesn't quite touch / meet. Someone has rectified this oversight with a leather belt that in my estimation must have cost maybe £50. An expensive alternative to cutting a length of twine or rope, or chain. Amusing though.
