Summit, Meall Ghaordaidh A triangulation pillar within a shelter. It was busy today and at last I got a view from here. Meall Ghaordaidh is a very fine viewpoint, and despite its rather short and dull redline route is worth a good day and a bit of time.

On Meall Taurnaigh Crossing bottomless snow between tops on Meall Taurnaigh. The landscape here is of multiple tops separated by boggy hollows. Some of the bogs caused me a worry or two, as they were invisible under the deep powder snow, and one in particular needed an understanding of non-Newtonian fluids to escape from.
Every step was an adventure - would I find an icy rock just beneath the surface, or a long plunge into a bog?
