A delightful lochan Lochanan Mora sits beneath a ridge of Lewisian gneiss typical of inland Harris. It looks dour on a dull day, but when the sun shines everything looks wonderful. Technically, there is human use, because sheep range everywhere on these hills.

Knock and loch One of many lochans in this square, and a little bit of the largest (Loch Uamadail) is just visible. The higher hills of Harris (possible the hills above Glen Skeaudale: NB1403) are in the distance. On a day like this, it is just one step from heaven.
