Old milestone On the A746 near the bridge over the River Bladnoch this stone had disppeared into the soil and vegetation since last photographed in 2008. A Milestone Society member has now dug it out. This style of stone set up all over the old county of Wigtownshire is about 150cm long so almost impossible to set upright without mechanical equipment.
