It's a Dog's Life Starting the descent of Suilven in the northwest highlands looking towards Suilven's east summit and to the left is Canisp. Surely some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in Scotland.

East-southeast towards Meall Meadhonach The classic view from the main summit of Caisteal Liath towards the slightly lower eastern summit. It's much the same view as <a href="https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1872743">NC1518 : View along Suilven Ridge from below Caisteal Liath</a> and taken only a few years later. The photo is scanned from a slide in my late father's collection, taken when he negotiated a day out from a family holiday at Inverkirkaig.
