The White Hart This is the White Hart Inn in Great Yeldham. The picture was taken during the long hot summer of 1975 whilst researching for a CSE Geography project. It was big brothers Consul Classic in the car park. The White Hart has been around since the 15th Century so 30 years is the blink of an eye on that timescale. This is the White Hart Inn in Great Yeldham. The picture was taken during the long hot summer of 1975 whilst researching for a CSE Geography project. St. Nicholas' Church, Castle Hedingham, Essex This church was originally built as a late Norman church with much of the period still evident. The tower is entirely Tudor and a very striking example. There are a lot of interesting features inside the church, which includes a tomb of the 15th Earl of Oxford, John de Vere. The de Vere family were one of the most powerful Norman families to make Britain their home and they were responsible for the Castle at Hedingham.
