Chimney Corner Plantation is a picturesque woodland located in Berkshire, England. It covers an area of approximately 100 acres and is renowned for its diverse range of flora and fauna. The plantation is nestled in the heart of the Berkshire countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and meandering streams.

The woodland is primarily composed of native tree species such as oak, beech, and birch, creating a rich and vibrant ecosystem. The trees provide a dense canopy, allowing only dappled sunlight to filter through to the forest floor. This creates an ideal habitat for a variety of plant species, including bluebells, wild garlic, and ferns.

Chimney Corner Plantation is also home to a wide range of wildlife. The woodland provides a sanctuary for numerous bird species, including woodpeckers, owls, and songbirds. Small mammals such as squirrels, foxes, and hedgehogs can also be found here, taking advantage of the abundance of food and shelter.

The plantation is a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and hikers, offering a network of well-maintained trails that wind through the woodland. These trails provide visitors with the opportunity to explore the beauty of the woodland and observe its abundant wildlife.

Chimney Corner Plantation is not only a haven for nature lovers but also plays a vital role in the local ecosystem. Its dense vegetation helps to reduce soil erosion, regulate water flow, and provide a natural habitat for many species. The plantation serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving and protecting our natural environments.

Commercial Orchards Milton Hill This whole area as late as the 1980's was totally given over to apple, pear and cherry production. However since the rise of the French Golden Delicious (which it is not) in the supermarkets these wonderful native varieties are all but lost. Please visit the local farm shop who still market their produce from this area and buy a couple of bottles of their apple juice. Pure nectar!
