The village is renowned for its picturesque natural beauty, with a sandy beach stretching along its shoreline. The beach, popular among locals and tourists alike, offers breathtaking views of the Llŷn Peninsula and the distant outline of the Isle of Anglesey. The calm waters of the sea make it an ideal spot for swimming, sailing, and other water-based activities.

Y Beuno? This building no longer appears to be "Y Beuno" as the signs have gone, a hotel named after the Saint of that name who had a monastic foundation here. Clynnog was a stop off point on the pilgrimage trail to Bardsey.

According to trip adviser it seems to have shut as a hotel in 2013, despite excellent reviews, and now be let as a single unit for family reunions and the like. Perhaps someone local could confirm that.

Eglwys Beuno Sant, Clynnog Fawr The parish church, dedicated to Saint Beuno, which is much larger than would be expected in a village of Clynnog's size. The site is said to be that of a Celtic monastery founded by Beuno in the early 7th century. The church was an important stopping place for pilgrims heading for Bardsey Island and contains Cyff Beuno, an ancient wooden chest hollowed out of a single piece of ash and used to keep alms donated by those on pilgrimages
