Kempsey is a civil parish located in the county of Worcestershire, England. It is situated approximately three miles south of the city of Worcester, and covers an area of about 1,346 acres. The parish is bordered by the River Severn to the west and the A38 road to the east.

The village of Kempsey is the main settlement within the civil parish. It has a population of around 3,500 people, according to the latest census data. The village has a long history, with evidence of human settlement in the area dating back to the Iron Age. The name Kempsey is believed to derive from the Old English words "kempa" meaning warrior, and "eg" meaning island or dry ground.
