Path, Luffness On foot this is not a patch on the usual coast path between Aberlady and Gullane, but this official version does enable a good loop to be made with the coast path and is a fine alternative to the busy A198 over the Links. It has been well funded as part of the John Muir Way.

It is unobstructed for horse riders and a good bike route.
