Is This the End of the Line? The Carmarthen and Cardigan Railway was closed in the 1970s and the track later removed. Now the successful Teifi Valley Railway operating out of Bronwydd is being extended southwards. Some reinforced concrete sleepers lie to the left of the track, with a few lengths of rail on the right.

Traditional Welsh Farm Here is a typical cluster of old and new farm buildings, with sheep and lambs grazing in the fields. It is the end of April and there are not many leaves on the trees and hedgerows. The farmer still has a large quantity of baled silage which he is not likely to need now that the grass has begun to grow.
