Edlington Moor is a picturesque area located in the county of Lincolnshire, England. Situated in the uplands of the Lincolnshire Wolds, it encompasses a mix of downs and moorland, offering a diverse and captivating landscape.

Covering an area of approximately 5 square kilometers, Edlington Moor is characterized by rolling hills, heathland, and scattered woodlands. The moorland is primarily composed of dry heath, dominated by heather, gorse, and bracken, while the downs feature areas of grassland interspersed with limestone outcrops. This combination of habitats provides a haven for a wide variety of flora and fauna.

The moorland is particularly renowned for its birdlife, attracting species such as lapwings, curlews, and red grouse. In addition, the woodlands provide nesting sites for woodland birds including the great spotted woodpecker and tawny owl. The diverse vegetation also supports a range of insects and small mammals, making it an important ecosystem for biodiversity.

Edlington Moor is a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and walkers, with several footpaths and bridleways crisscrossing the area. These paths offer stunning views of the surrounding countryside and allow visitors to explore the diverse landscape at their own pace. The moorland is also a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), highlighting its ecological significance.

The tranquility and natural beauty of Edlington Moor make it an ideal location for those seeking a peaceful retreat or an opportunity to connect with nature. Whether it's birdwatching, hiking, or simply enjoying the breathtaking views, this area of Lincolnshire has much to offer to both locals and visitors alike.

The Broadway, Woodhall Spa Woodhall Spa's parish council makes its presence felt in the centre of this most untypical Lincolnshire town. At one time a railway crossed The Broadway at this location by means of a skewed level crossing; the site of Woodhall Spa station, which closed to passengers in 1954, is behind the photographer. Freight trains continued to run until 1971.

Station Road, Woodhall Spa The Station Road name is one of the few reminders that a railway once passed through Woodhall Spa, with a level crossing in the centre of the town. Passenger services were withdrawn in 1954. Here the library stands adjacent to Zucci, a Mediterranean bistro.

Woodhall Spa Conservative Club Although it occupies a prominent position on Spa Road this rather drab building is not really in keeping with the centre of Woodhall Spa. Nevertheless, it appears to be maintained in a tidy condition. Politically-affiliated clubs like this one can be found in many towns and cities and are usually required to make party donations. The sign in the foreground, despite its colour, is not associated with the club.
