West Lodge, Mey At one time, I assume, this was one of the entrances to the Castle of Mey. However, unlike the road from the East Lodge (see <a href="https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4555057">ND3072 : East Lodge, Mey</a>), this approach to the A836 appears not to be public. 

However the road is now a public road leading to the A836.
